Summer Junior Programme

With the gorgeous weather we're enjoying at the moment, it has been a great start to our Summer Junior Programme. As ever our junior courses are a popular choice to keep the kids entertained during the school holidays, and this year is no exception. Bookings have been on-going since the beginning of the year and now we have only a handful of spaces available on a selection of courses.

Call the Centre on 01628 638860 to get the latest availability.

We will be aiming to run some more junior courses in September over the weekends and also in the Autumn half term. We will update you as soon as dates are available. If you want to be sure of getting the latest Bray Lake news, sign up to our Newsletter.

supPOCKETWe’ve just taken delivery of the supPOCKETs and supPOCKET nets – you can buy on line or on your next visit.

At this time of year everyone usually starts running out of iSUPs including us, however we do have reasonable stock of most models in stock so if you are looking to get that perfect “must have” beach accessory why not drop in and take a test ride with our Try Before You Buy service making sure you get the right SUP for you. Maybe even pick up a bit of advice on your technique to get the best out of your SUP.

New Windsurfing Kit

Some new windsurfing kit is winging its way to the Lake for you to try out. There will be a range of Tushingham Bolts, Starboard Atoms and Carves and then mid-August we should be taking stock of some new 2015 Geckos.

In the meantime to whet your appetite, check out the new Bolt from Tushingham.

SUP Ultra Adventure Distance Race

We are just days away from the Ultra Adventure Distance Race organised by Bray Lake Watersports. This is a challenging event along a beautiful stretch of the River Thames. This is currently the longest race on the UK SUP race calendar. Not because we want it too be long but just because it links two regular routes paddled by the Windsor and Maidenhead SUP club and links two iconic areas of the Thames.

This is the second time we have run this race and its back by popular demand. This is definitely not an easy race and will be a challenge to all those who take part at what ever pace you choose to do it. Whether you do it for the personal challenge, to beat your mate or to be leader of the pack this is an event you will remember.

For more information and to book a space, visit Windsor & Maidenhead SUP Club.
