The session will consist of the first half of the Start Sailing weekend course which will cover the basics of sailing across the wind and turning around.

	If you enjoy yourself and want to continue dinghy saiing then you can upgrade to our Start Sailing course or Fast Track package enabling you to hire equipment in the future.

Had a go before or tried sailing on holiday, and now want to complete the first level?  This is the course for you.

	The session is the second half of our Start Dinghy Sailing course, here you will improve tacking and gybing techniques, and the cover the necessary theory.
	By the end of the session you will be able to helm a dinghy under the supervision of an instructor.
	If you enjoy yourself and want to continue dinghy saiing then you can upgrade to our Fast Track package enabling you to hire equipment in the future.

This course (2 x 4hrs Sat & Sun) provides the complete novice with an introduction to dinghy sailing.

It is important to note that this course will only introduce you to the sport and will not give you the level of competence necessary to hire, if you want to sail unsupervised, it is recommended you follow up with Dinghy Sailing Improver or why not sign up for the complete Fast Track Package?

	You will learn the basics of rigging, sailing and safety.  Most of the time will be spent afloat learning basic sailing manoeuvres and the by the end of the course you will be able to helm a dinghy under supervision.

If you are ready to take up the challenge and serious about learning to sail this is the package for you.

The Fast Track Package is aimed at getting you to a confident and competent standard as quickly as possible providing you with an industry recognised qualification allowing you to hire dinghies both in the UK and abroad.  It combines tuition time with a period of self learning to develop your technique.

	You will first do our Start Sailing (RYA Level 1) course (2 x 4hrs Sat & Sun) which introduces you to basic boat control skills and safety issues. If it is felt that more tuition time is required you will be invited back on the next suitable Sunday, free of charge.
	You will be able to build your confidence and fine-tune your skills by using your Hire Card to take advantage of the inclusive supervised hire. Safety cover is always at hand and instructors will be around to help and assist you when rigging, launching and landing.
	When you complete your hire card you will be ready to attend our Dinghy Improver – (RYA Level 2) course (2 x 4hrs Sat & Sun) . This course will introduce you to core sailing skills and techniques as well as handling double handed dinghies.
	After you finish the course you will be confident and knowledgeable enough to sail a dinghy safely (within your limitations) and without the need of an instructor.
