Coaching Week - Ages 8-15 yrs

(5 half days - Times TBC)

Price: £135.00

NEW FORMAT FOR 2008!

This course is aimed at those of you who have completed your RYA Stage 2 certificate and want to continue learning more advanced skills. The emphasis of the week will be about consolidating your knowledge and getting the most out of your sailing whilst having fun.  Activities will be dictated according to weather conditions and the ability of those on the course, however, time will be allocated for specific coaching sessions to help you achieve the next stage.  You will be introduced to more challenging sailing techniques, including using a spinnaker, anchoring, seamanship skills as well as crweing and helming double handers.

There will be specific coaching to introduce you to the exciting world of competitive racing preparing you for our brand new racing sessions at the weekend.  But, the really great thing about the coaching week is that you can repeat the course as many times as you like and each time you will see your skills just get better and better!  It doesn't have to stop there either, keep sailing during term time at our Junior Club and we will help you practise the skills necessary to achieve Level 3.
