If you want to SUP at Bray Lake you can do that anytime 7 days a week whether you have your own board or not. If not you simply need to hire one, If you have your own then all you need to do is pay a launch fee and off you go.
If you want to come and paddle with others we have two club paddle session each week.
This session is an open session for all levels of paddler from beginner to advance. It's a mixture of skill development, paddle fitness training, river paddles and learn to paddle sessions.
This club session runs from late April till September from 18:30 until 21:30 so there is time to paddle after work. A great way to unwind from a stressful day.
This session runs throughout the year and is again open to all levels of paddler and focuses on fitness and paddle skill development.
Starting at 10am this is a two hour session although depending on the time of year and weather the session may be shortened if it is cold or lengthened if we go for a river paddle.
On top of these regular sessions we also run regular paddle trips both locally and further afield. Details of these trips will be posted on our Face book account, news letter and home page of our web site.
Once a month we run a club race which form part of a winter or summer series everyone is welcome even if you only learnt the day before. The races are a great way of testing your paddling skills and fitness. As a club we also take part in regular off site events hosted by other SUP clubs.
At Bray Lake we are lucky to situated next to the the river Thames and we can get out on the river via direct access from a small stream that runs along the back of our site. This gives us a great opportunity for some fantastic paddles both short and long depending on your experience mood or time available.
The is no need to be a member everyone is welcome at Bray Lake. If however you decide to become a members there is a whole load of benefits.
